Titanfall Expedition Release Date Leaked?

As I was perusing the Reddit forums, I stumbled upon a post at gamesided.com. The link was to a pre-order page for the new Titanfall Expedition DLC pack.   According to the site, the expansion will be available for download at 8:00 am EST on Thursday, May 15th.  This comes as a bit of a surprise, since the general consensus was sometime in May, but nothing had been confirmed.
Screen Shot 2014-05-12 at 6.38.03 PMNow, one could make the case that this was a typo or an arbitrary date, but that seems less likely.   I took a screenshot of the page in the event the site was changed or the date was changed.  Just wanted some confirmation that I wasn’t misreading their site.

If you put the Titanfall Expedition Map Pack in the search engine, it will give you this link and also one for the Xbox 360 version.  Interestingly, the 360 version shows a download date of December 31st which does seem like an arbitrary date.
The favorite son of the Xbox One is banking on this being one of three very successful DLC packs.  Titanfall has been the best-selling Xbox One game and Microsoft is surely hoping that the expansion packs will build on its current success.  There is also a season pass for the expansions, and it is also available for purchase.

GameSpy shutdown sends over 50 EA games offline

The closure of GameSpy’s online hosting services is set to knock more than 50 EA games offline by the end of June.
The publisher claimed it did not have a suitable solution to keep all its GameSpy-connected games online, but was investigating community-supported options for preserving the multiplayer functionality of titles such as Battlefield 2, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and the Command & Conquer series.
In a statement the company added that for many of the titles it was “no longer feasible” to continue supporting them, as older games “typically have fewer than one per cent of all peak online players across all EA titles”.

Need for Speed 2014 Confirmed, No Release in 2014

Fans of Need for Speed will be disappointed, as the developer of 2013's Need for Speed Rivals, Ghost Games has said that the next Need for Speed title will only release in 2015 and there will be no game from the popular racing video game franchise in 2014.
"We've made the decision to not release a Need for Speed in 2014, so we can work towards a highly innovative Need for Speed in 2015," said Marcus Nilsson, executive producer and GM of Ghost Games in a post on the official website.
In a post thanking the fans for making the game popular and successful, he said that the dedication of the fans makes the studio to do more. He also said that the studio is passionate about the game and will improve upon it constantly, bringing out "games that push the boundaries of technology and innovation."
"Ghost Games is working on innovative new chapter of the franchise," echoed Andrew Wilson, ceo at EA during the financial call, CVG reported. EA has "planned an extended development window to ensure a high quality experience for NFS players next year".
He also revealed to fans in his post that the studio is "deep in development" on the next title from the franchise and promised that apart from listening to the fans, the game will be the one that they have been asking for.
But the developer which will be making the next Need of Speed said that fans will constantly be hearing from the studio as it wants their input on the "future gameplay and features."
The last game, Rivals suffered various issues on performance on both console and PC platforms.
The racing video game franchise has seen worldwide success since the first game launched in 1994. The most recent among them is Need for Speed Rivals, which was the twentieth installment in the series. It was released for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in November 2013.

GTA V not yet released on pc

GTA V for the PC still remains unofficial with Rockstar Games still yet to make any official announcements regarding the hugely popular Grand Theft Auto 5 game on the platform. However, according to widespread reports, the game will not only be released, but could come this year as game developers are already configuring the gameplay.

After the official announcement of GTA 5 for PS3 and Xbox 360, PC gamers are eagerly waiting for Rockstar to announce release date for PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5. And the release of a new trailer of GTA 5 has again made us remember that PC release date has not been announced yet. Once thing I can’t understand is why Rockstar always seems to ignore the PC gamers at first. They did same for San Andreas and made the PC gamers to wait quite a long time.
Note: We will keep updating this page as soon as we get more information about release date of GTA 5 for PC. But till then we can only make guesses. So here is an expected release date calculated by keeping the previous patterns.
Release date for Xbox and PS3 is : September 17, 2013
Expected release date for PC: April, 2014

"The pre-orders tell us that those who pre-order will have to wait for summer next year for the release. We take the summer to mean somewhere between July and September 2014," the website writes. "You do have to take this with a pinch of salt as at the moment Rockstar have not spoken up about a released date. Personally we thought that that Rockstar would launch GTA 5 for the PC before we got to see it on the PS4 and Xbox One."

EXTRACTION

Extraction is a multiplayer free-to-play shooter from Splash Damage. After a mysterious attack, teams of mercenaries -- some reputable and some not -- clash in the contaminated streets of London to extract or destroy the secrets left behind. Snipe, attack, cover, or heal throughout the streets of London with a wide range of mercenaries, each big on personality and long on abilities. Master your Merc, serve your team. Standard multiplayer matches are driven by mission objectives, while you can also let your kill skill shine in Team Deathmatch. The most valuable thing in this truly free-to-play shooter is talent. Whether you're in world-class competition or a quick firefight, it's your skill that brings the kill.

TITANFALL

During a conference call with investors this afternoon, Electronic Arts announced Titanfall sales figures and revealed it has extended its deal with Respawn Entertainment to continue publishing future games in the series.
"We're also excited to announce that EA is continuing its partnership with Vince Zampella and the Respawn Entertainment team," EA announced today. "Through a new publishing agreement, we'll be working with Respawn to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide."
No further details were shared regarding future plans for Titanfall, including whether it will continue to be an Xbox exclusive on consoles.
While it shouldn't come as a surprise that the Titanfall franchise will see more games released, EA's deal with Respawn didn't guarantee that it would continue on as the series' publisher in the future. It was reported in March that EA had secured the rights to publish Titanfall 2 as part of a deal that was contingent upon strong sales of the first game.
As for sales numbers, EA COO Peter Moore announced that NPD figures show Titanfall sold 925,000 units at retail through the end of March. NPD figures only account for physical sales in the United States, so that doesn't represent worldwide sales figures, nor does it include any sales of the digital version. The Xbox 360 version didn't release until April 8, so its sales were also not included, but Moore described it as being "off to a great start as well".

Hey guys here comes a new game Killer is Dead going to be released on May 9, 2014 its amazing, cool graphics and many more.......

Killer is Dead is a project by iconoclast game designer Suda51. A reputable execution agency’s newest recruit, Mondo Zappa, takes center stage as he stalks and beheads a wide variety of heinous criminals all across the world (and even, perhaps, outside of it). As he settles into his new job, he also comes to terms with his own inner demons, balancing his talent for dispensing swift and brutal justice with his fleeting memories of a traumatic past, and peppering it all with his many sensual conquests. Be he a killer, a lover or a gigolo, Mondo's many tales of passion and brutality begin with his appointment at Bryan´s Executioner Office. A whole world of pain and pleasure awaits, and there’s no telling where it might take him next...
Set in a not-so-distant future -- a world similar to (but not the same as) the world we know now -- the game puts you in the role of Mondo, who wields a Japanese sword in his right hand and brandishes interchangeable weapons in his left artificial arm. Execute various heinous criminals scattered around the world and beyond. Completely unique visuals and outstanding stylish action come together to deliver an unprecedented gaming experience.
This PC edition of the game adds a new difficulty mode called Nightmare Mode. In this mode, enemies can only be defeated using the following attacks: Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst, Headshots, so the gameplay requires far more skill and tactics. Players will also not be able to use the Final Judgement finisher (QTE mode) to defeat enemies. Also included is the Smooth Operator Pack for console, unlocked after Episode 3. Additionally there is a new Theater Mode where players can rewatch cutscenes and get extended background information on characters, helping to unravel the story after the first playthrough.
